ArtsWayland is pleased to introduce Mei-Ling Ellerman’s two-week summer drawing intensive for teens ages 13-16.In just two weeks, students will learn everything that she teaches in her popular 8-week course, “Learning to Draw for Life.” Mei-Ling has designed her curriculum to progressively teach and practice the fundamental principles of drawing, including contour drawing, tonal values, space, proportions, and use of color.
Teen artists will come away with new confidence and an improved ability to correct their own drawings.
These enhanced observational and drawing skills will benefit them in the future, and can be applied to different disciplines and forms of art.
This class will be taught online so that students have the flexibility to travel during the summer and can learn from the comfort of their homes.
