This day-long community event includes a variety of service-based projects throughout the city to help better residents, children in need, and injured members of the Armed Forces. Members of the Brockton Mayor’s Youth Council will team up with mentors, the Massachusetts Promise Fellowship , and Artists for Humanity, to complete mural projects that will be donated to community agency that provide support and services to Brockton youth.

Painting will be done at the Brockton Teen Center. At the same time, other efforts include: collecting and sorting school supplies for Brockton's School on Wheels; making and sending get well cards for troops; making and sending academic enrichment sheets and friendship bracelets for Brockton youth in local hospitals; clean ups surrounding neighborhood; painting the walls of the Warren Avenue club; cleaning the inside and perimeter of the Warren Avenue Club and Teen Center. A celebratory lunch will be held at the Boys & Girls Club of Brockton at 233 Warren Ave.

BOTH SITES
• Collect and sort school supplies for Brockton’s School on Wheels program
• Collect and organize non-perishable food items for Greater Boston Food Bank
• Make and send get-well cards for Armed Forces troops
• Make and send Boys & Girls Club academic enrichment sheets and friendship bracelets to Brockton youth in local hospitals
• Clean inside and the perimeter of the Warren Avenue Club and Brockton Teen Center
• Clean the surrounding neighborhoods
WARREN AVENUE CLUB
• Paint walls inside the Warren Avenue Club
TEEN CENTER
• Brockton Youth Council (BYC) Mural Service Project at the Brockton Teen Center - pairing young mentees with older mentors
