Join a teddy bear brigade on Sunday, May 22 from 10-11:30am at the Leventhal-Sidman JCC (333 Nahanton Street) in Newton! This program will emphasize the importance of compassion and good deeds (mitzvot) as children make teddy bears to donate to the Newton Fire Department.
Teddy bears are distributed by emergency personnel to children going through trauma. Expect a visit from the Newton Fire Department. Recommended for children ages 3-6. Cost is $12 per bear for JCC members and $15 per bear for nonmembers. For more information, email pjlibrary@jccgb.org.
All JCC arts and humanities offerings are programs of the Ryna Greenbaum JCC Center for the arts.
