WGBH: Pledge to Volunteer in December
We could use your help as a Pledge Operator:
Sunday, December 7, (Shift: 5:30-11:30pm): Programs to be aired include Transatlantic Sessions and Jewel in the Crown.
Pledge Operators answer phones and record pledges of support from donors as part of WGBH's fundraising drives.
Qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills and friendly disposition
• Strong command of the English language
• Ability to speak loudly and clearly over the telephone
• Capacity to hear callers over the phone with ease
• Experience using a laptop computer and basic data entry skills
Time commitment
TV pledge shifts typically range from 4-6 hours.
You must be available for the entire shift in order to volunteer.
All shifts include time for dinner and training.
WGBH is unable to accommodate late arrivals and/or early departures.
