WGBH: March TV Pledge Volunteers Needed
We could use your assistance as a Pledge Operator to support this very important endeavor.
You'll also be exposed to the behind-the-scenes work that goes into a typical live studio production.
We could use your help as a Pledge Operator:
Sunday, March 1, (Shift: 4:30-11:30pm): Programs to be aired include Angels Sing: Libera in America, Tower of Power, and WGBH Talking Downton.
Tuesday, March 10, (Shift: 4:30-10:30pm): Programs to be aired include Yoga Easing Pain, Yoga for Arthritis, and Father Brown: Saving Souls.
Peggy Cappy will be here LIVE in the studio.
Pledge Operators answer phones and record pledges of support from donors as part of WGBH's fundraising drives.
Qualifications
• Excellent customer service skills and friendly disposition
• Strong command of the English language
• Ability to speak loudly and clearly over the telephone
• Capacity to hear callers over the phone with ease
• Experience using a laptop computer and basic data entry skills
Time commitment
TV pledge shifts typically range from 6-7 hours.
You must be available for the entire shift in order to volunteer.
All shifts include time for dinner and training.
WGBH is unable to accommodate late arrivals and/or early departures.
