Organize a drive or donate new or nearly new books appropriate for infants through age 3, so that the children in our program can develop the early literacy skills they need to succeed in life.
Room to Grow is a nonprofit organization in Boston dedicated to enriching the lives of babies born into poverty.
We provide a unique combination of social work support and material resources to families who are dealing with the challenges of raising babies while struggling financially.
By providing low-income families with a home library of 130 books (10 books at each three month visit over three years) and the support they need to instill a love of learning.
Room to Grow increases the probability that children in our program will start school on a level playing field with their middle-income peers and improve their chances of breaking the cycle of intergenerational poverty.
