Child & Infant Research Studies at BC Cognition Lab
Here at the Boston College Infant and Child Cognition Lab, we investigate what babies (ages 5.5 to 23 months) and children (ages 2.5 years to 7th grade) know about numbers and other quantities.
In our studies, babies are shown pictures and videos on a screen and we measure how long they look at them.
Children play fun counting and number games on a computer or with an experimenter.
Studies only take about 30-60 minutes.
Your child will always be with you and they generally have a great time.
Children also receive a small gift and certificate for participating!
With your help, we can learn more about how infants and children understand numbers, and how this relates to later achievements in mathematics.
We hope to hear from you soon!
