WFT proudly presents the New England premiere of this richly textured adaptation of Grace Lin’s Newbery-honored novel. Where the Mountain Meets the Moon weaves legend and myth with the story of a young girl’s adventures.
Inspired by her father’s stories of the Jade Dragon and the Old Man of the Moon, Minli sets off on a quest to change her family’s fortunes.
Through the twists and turns of her extraordinary travels, she finds the courage and cleverness to overcome obstacles—and a new understanding of what is truly important in life.
Performances on Friday May 9 at 7:30 and Sunday May 11 at 3:00 are interpreted in American Sign Language and Audio-described. All shows are open captioned.
