Aleks Puumala is an 11 year old boy from Framingham who was recently diagnosed with bone cancer. A Walsh middle school student, Aleks currently spends most of his days at Children’s Hospital playing video games and keeping up with his Framingham Flyers Pee Wee Hockey team.

You can help support Aleks today. Stop by Whimsy Arts & Crafts Studio and paint a mini hockey stick and write him a note in the Whimsy message book. All proceeds to be donated to the Puumala family.

Located on Route 9 east in Framingham, directly across the street from Trader Joes, Staples and Ruby Tuesdays behind Ski Market Plaza.

From 495
Exit Route 9 Framingham, travel approximately 7 miles. Watch for the Whimsy sign on the right after you pass Framingham State College and St. Bridget's Church.

From Mass Pike (exit 12)
Exit Route 9 Framingham - head east for approximately 2.5 miles. Whimsy will be on your right side - see above.

From Mass Pike (exit 13)
Exit Route 30 Framingham. Head west on Route 30 about 1 mile until it merges with Route 9. Continue on Route 9 approximately 1 mile, go through one traffic light (Whole Foods) and you will see our sign on the eastbound side. Prepare to make a U turn at Framingham center/Edgell Road/Route 30).

What a great idea. I hope everyone participates in this great promotion. Whimsy is a lot of fun. My two year old loves it. She gets to paint and I am happy to leave the paint mess there. The staff is very helpful.
