Andrea Kim, Age 11, Irvine, CA Performing her original piece 'Fantasia'.
As a Junior Special Advanced Course graduate student with Mrs.Su-Shing Chiu, Andrea has been studying music at Irvine Yamaha Music Center since age 4. Andrea has won many piano competitions, including being the California Association of Professional Music Teachers MTNA Winner in 2003 and 2005, MTAC Composers Today Competition 2003 and 2005, MTNA National First Place in Composition 2006, 2006 PTA Reflections National Winner in composition, the Yamaha Jamboree National Winner in 2003 and a 2007 Yamaha Music Camp Scholarship Winner.
