New Mothers Groups
New Babies/New Moms are daytime gatherings of first time mothers of infants up to 6 months. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and get support from one another and a professional facilitator. Leaders of these groups all have advanced degrees in Social Work, Education, or Psychology. Groups consist of 8-12 participants who meet for six weeks. Groups are free of charge.
New Parents Groups
New Babies/New Parents are evening gatherings of first time mothers and fathers of infants up to 6 months. This is an opportunity to ask questions, share experiences, and get support from one another and a professional facilitator. Leaders of these groups all have advanced degrees in Social Work, Education, or Psychology. Groups consist of 16 participants who meet for eight weeks. A light supper is served.
Stipends are available for child care and transportation. Groups are free of charge, thanks to a grant from the MA Children’s Trust Fund.
Music Stay-and-Play
Make music and friends, too. WarmLines welcomes children from 3 mos to 3.5 years, each with an adult partner, to join a music educator for a 45-minute class followed by a 30-minute free play period. Weekday mornings. Fall/Winter and Winter/Spring sessions. Fee.

WarmLines is located in the Newton Cultural Center at 225 Nevada Street in Newtonville MA. Groups and classes are held in a large sunlit activity room. There is plenty of free parking, a large park with playground equipment, and handicap accessibility.
