Wonderful outdoor playground (newly renovated in 2012) in West Concord with a jungle gym, swings, and cedar grounds. Equipment is shaded for sunny days.

There is also a basketball court, tennis courts, a baseball diamond and lots of open space for kite flying, running and tag. The Commuter Train passes by frequently (behind the trees) which is fun for young kids to listen for the horn and the distant roar of the train.

Free parking. Within walking distance to West Concord Center.

Has been remodeled

If you thought the park was great before, it's even better now. With an excellent center structure composed of lots of ways to climb, slides, cool spinny gizmos, a rope 'web' for climbing, and more, the park has a lot to offer. Lots of space for running around, picknicking and flying a kite. The train does go by, so that's a fun curiosity. Some local eateries within half a mile.
